- JM de Guzman may be hinting a That Thing Called Tadhana 2.
- He also spent his time with Angelica Panganiban re-watching the said film.
- He wished his followers would help inspire writer and director Antoinette Jadaone to finish the script.
In an Instagram post last January 21, Sunday, JM de Guzman is pushing for That Thing Called Tadhana sequel. He also asked his followers to inspire That Thing Called Tadhana writer and director Antoinette Jadaone to finish the second script for it. This has been after a day, JM posted the recreation of the most iconic photo in the said film.
JM posted two videos on Instagram. On the caption, he teased his followers that there might be a sequel. He also asked his followers to inspire Antoinette to finish the script. He, then, tagged his That Thing Called Tadhana co-star Angelica Panganiban.
“That thing called tadhana part 2? tara i inspire nating lahat si @tonet_jadaone tapusin ang script! Haha @iamangelicap”
However, the video doesn’t stop there. He added a second clip which earned laughs and applause from many. Many That Thing Called Tadhana fans also approached the rumored sequel with a warm heart. The video features the lead characters Anthony Lagdameo (JM) and Mace Castillo (Angelica) talking on Facebook after two years.
“Clip 2 TTCT part 2.”
JM and Angelica have also started hanging out with each other. In a recent Instagram post, JM shared a video last January 20, Saturday. In the said video, JM and Angelica turned out to be re-watching That Thing Called Tadhana. With the string of hints, there may actually be a sequel. They may be re-studying their characters, after all.
Another hint would be another recent Instagram post where JM and Angelica also posted a photo of a recreation of their expressions on the poster. They both posted it on their own Instagram accounts. Angelica has her hands on both of her cheeks while JM has his hand on one.
The said photo on the poster actually showed where their characters Anthony and Mace met– in an airport in Rome. If JM’s photo was flipped, the real photo on the poster and their recreation looks identical. The only difference would be the setting and JM looking straight at the camera and the position of his arm.
