- JC Santos pulled out of ABS-CBN’s upcoming series, “Asintado.”
- Angelica Panganiban also pulled out of the said series.
- Although, JC revealed some of ABS-CBN’s plans for him in 2018.
JC Santos will no longer be a cast member of ABS-CBN’s upcoming drama-action series titled “Asintado.” He confirmed this to PEP.ph during the blog conference for 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Meant to Beh.”
When asked about the said television series, he answered:
“Ah. Hindi na. I think, it’s different priorities talaga.”
Then, he clarified:
“There is no issue about it, parang nangyari noong Ghost Bride.”
Supposedly, JC pulled out of the cast of the said horror movie which Christian Bables filled in for.
However, JC laughed it off and continued:
“Diyos ko, sanay na ako sa mga ganyan and galing din naman ako sa teatro, di ba, siyempre may mga roles na mapupunta sa ‘yo at may mga roles na hindi mapupunta sa iyo, it’s not meant to beh!”
JC confirmed his attendance to Victims of Love, the former title of Asintado.
At the story conference and media announcement, Paulo Avelino, Lorna Tolentino, Cherry Pie Picache and Julia Montes were present and still part of the series.
Although, JC won’t be the only one who pulled out of the said series. Angelica Panganiban, also present at the said story, will also no longer be a part of the cast. Shaina Magdayao filled in for a more different role than Angelica’s.
After being pulled out of Asintado, JC admitted he will be in a new teleserye in 2018.
“I think sa February, I think may plano sila. May partner akong bago, may plano sila for the two of us.”
When asked about the identity of his new partner, he only laughed and said:
“Siyempre, babae!”
