- JC de Vera shared an awkward situation during the pride parade in Taiwan.

Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes had a permit to shoot during Taiwan’s pride parade. In a recent press conference, the cast recalled their experiences during the parade. JC de Vera, however, shared that one specific gay held on to his butt for too long.
PEPalerts posted a video of JC recounting the details on the said experience.
“Unang salang pa lang namin dun sa set, magte-take na kami ng first scene namin sa parade. Edi may mga Tawain people na nagpa-picture sa amin. Imbes na akbayan ako, sa puwet ko nakahawak. So, bumubulong ako, ‘Angge, Angge, yung kamay niya nasa puwet ko, tingnan niyo.'”
Then, he continued as his co-stars, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and Angelica Panganiban, laugh on either side of him.
“Tapos pagtingin nila nasa puwet ko nga, nakababad sa puwet ko. Naninigas akong ganun, ‘Angge, yung kamay niya nasa puwet ko.”
Angelica laughed and asked him, “Anong gusto mong gawin ko?”
Judy Ann also supported Angelica’s claims, “Gusto mong tanggalin namin ‘yan, e, di nasampal kami. Nandito kami sa gay pride ‘tapos tatanggalin namin ang kamay nila.”
Another co-star came up with a solution to get JC out of the awkward situation. Joross Gamboa suggested JC to hold on to his hand.
“Nung nilalapitan na ako ng mga tao, ng mga bading din, hinawakan ni Joross yung kamay ko. Sabi niya, ‘Pre, hahawakan ko na yung kamay mo para hindi ka na nila kulitin.'”
Joross’ suggestion seemed to have worked. Every person in the area respected that they already have a ‘relationship’ with another.
“In fairness, may respect silang lahat dun. Kapag alam nilang may partner, hindi ka nila babastusin, hindi ka nila gagalawin.”
JC told everyone that fans can now have a picture with him while holding onto his butt. However, he requested them to ask him first before doing so.
“Ngayon, pwede niyo na pong gawin yun kung gusto niyong magpa-picture. Okay na po. Huwag kayong mag-alala, na-warm up na po ako. Magpaalam lang po kayo, ‘JC, ilalagay ko lang ang kamay ko dito.’ ‘That’s fine.'”
Judy Ann also recounted details when lesbians surrounded her. She also pretended to be Angelica’s lesbian partner.
