Amid the controversial issue the Rappler is facing, veteran newscaster and talk show Jay Sonza host took to Facebook to express his sentiments about the issue.
The 62-year old former “Mel & Jay” host claimed that the late Cory Aquino and the authors of 1987 Constitution should be the ones to blame on the revoked license of the online news outlet.
“Kung ano-ano na at sino-sino na ang sinisisi sa desisyon ng SEC laban sa rappler. Isang grupo lang ang dapat sisihin,” he wrote.
“Si Cory Aquino, Hilario Davide at asawa ni Mareng Winnie na si Christian Monsod at lahat ng may akda at may kinalaman sa 1987 Constitution,” he continued on his post.
According to Jay, Rappler violated the 1987 Constitution which led to Securities and Exchange Commision to revoke their registration.
“Ang nilabag ng rappler at\y ang 1987 Constitution na pinagmamalaki nina Davide at Monsod at handa silang mamatay upang ipagtanggol ito,” he stated.
On the latter part of his FB post, Jay Sonza called out Maria Ressa and said she is blaming the wrong person for their current problem.
Jay ended his post, “Kaya, maria ressa na amerikanang nagpapanggap na pinay, sampu ng mga kapanalig mo – ang sinisi nyong tao at administrasyon ay mali. You are all barking up the wrong tree! It’s Cory and her Constitution, you stupid fool!”
