- The 32-year old former Kapamilya actor sees no issue playing supporting roles.
The upcoming romantic-comedy teleserye “The One That Got Away” will be the first official full-length teleserye of newest Kapuso Jason Abalos. Despite playing supporting role, the 32-year old former Kapamilya star still thankful to GMA Network for his first show.
“Wala namang problema sa akin kung bigyan nila ako ng lead or supporting role muna. Siyempre, bago tayong pasok sa GMA-7 at kung ano ang ibigay nila sa akin, thank you very much po,” he said.
Jason also explained that his role will have a big impact on the story as he will be the love interest of the fun and flirty Zoe played by Rhian Ramos.
“Saka itong role ko sa TOTGA, maganda siya, e. Hindi lang basta suporta lang ang role ko. Mai-involve ako with Rhian at magkakaroon kami ng conflict ni Dennis over her,” he further explained.
Jason also expressed happiness for giving him a chance to guest on different shows of Kapuso network.
“Yun ang masaya kasi lahat ng shows naikot ko. Sa kabila kasi [ABS-CBN], kapag may teleserye ako hindi ako madalas nakakapag-guest sa ibang shows. Dito hanggang sa game shows nagagawa kong mag-guest,” he shared.
“Kaya ang saya lang kasi nakikilala ko halos lahat ng mga artista ng Kapuso network,” he added.
Jason left is home network ABS-CBN and transferred to GMA Network last October 2017.
