- Former Kapatid star Jasmine Curtis-Smith still thankful for the project in 2017 despite being a freelancer.
- Will Jasmine continue to stay as a freelancer this 2018?
Despite being a freelancer, former Kapatid star Jasmine Curtis-Smith did several acting projects this past year. On her latest project “Siargao,” she won the Best Supporting Actress award on the recently concluded MMFF 2017 Gabi ng Parangal.
In her acceptance speech, she said that she is still thankful for all the project that she had in the past year. She also revealed that it has been tough for being a freelancer however she remained active doing movies.
After her MMFF 2017 movie, Jasmine is now gearing up for her new movie “General Admission” directed by Jeffrey Hidalgo which also stars JC de Vera.
On the other hand, Jasmine also talked about settling down with longtime boyfriend Jeff Ortega.
“Hindi pa nga ako ganu’n ka-solved sa direksyon ng career ko, I’m still planning it out, I’m still trying to see ano pang talagang gagawin ko,” she said.
But once that’s figured out, siguro, from there, tingnan natin kung ready na three years from now, pero wala namang rush-an. When the time comes, God will let me know,” she further explained.
Meanwhile, rumors are spreading like wildfire that Jasmine will star in a teleserye alongside ‘Pambansang Bae’ Alden Richards. If the rumors were true, is it a sign that Jasmine will be Kapuso this year?
