James Reid finally addressed the rumors about his allegedly drunken habits. In an interview with Darla Sauler of PUSH.com, he and Nadine Lustre talked about the real reason why they momentarily stopped filming for Never Not Love You.
Recently, director and writer, Antoinette Jadaone posted a tweet about a packed up shoot. Although she didn’t identify it, netizens quickly assumed that it was, in fact, JaDine’s Never Not Love You.
In the said interview, Nadine admitted that Antoinette became more meticulous when it comes to filming a movie. Unlike on the set of On The Wings of Love which has a fast-pacing shoot.
“Lahat ng mga maliliit na details parang kumbaga pinapakeelaman niya. Kasi gusto niya perfect.”
Darla opened up about the said packed up shoot rumors. In the said rumors, people speculate that James remained drunk on set which became the reason for many packed up shoots. Nadine continued to state that the rumors are ridiculous.
“For me ha, medyo ridiculous siya. Kasi ang reason talaga kung bakit na-pack up ‘yung shoot kasi may sakit ako… Atsaka uncalled for talaga siya kasi Saturday night palang nag-start na akong lagnatin. Tapos headache, tapos, back pain, ‘yung hindi na talaga ako makagalaw.”
Nadine also opened up about the reason for her pain: inverted or reverse cervical curve. According to Nadine, she will receive treatment through physical therapy and a chiropractor. She responded with the reasons for having the said condition: over-exhaustion, bad posture and stress about what happened the past year.
James started speaking out surrounding the issue he read about himself. He approached the issue about getting drunk on set leading to many packed up shoots. He also admitted that he only found out about the said rumor a few hours before the interview.
“First, I wasn’t, I wasn’t drunk. Two, I never go out.”
Nadine also supported his claims. She wondered that she felt sick the day people claimed James went drunk. The shoot had already packed up before he even went out for a friend’s homecoming.
