After 25 years of being a couple, Glady Reyes and Christopher Roxas plan to renew their vows this year.
The ceremony will take place on their wedding anniversary January 23, Tuesday in Iglesia ni Cristo – Locale of Tagaytay. The reception will also take place in a garden near the Iglesia.
Included in their entourage, the principal sponsors turned out to be Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and OPM icon, Martin Nievera. Their children will be the Best of Man, Gian-Christophe; Maid of Honor, Gianna-Aquisha; Ring Bearer, Grant-Carlin and Gavin Cale.
Gladys and Christopher got married on January 23, 2004. Although, they started out as childhood sweethearts on the set of TV soap opera, Mara Clara. Just a fourteen-year-old girl and a twelve-year-old boy, nobody thought their puppy love would last.
While filming Mara Clara, Christopher wasted no time on courting the now-iconic kontrabida. He also used to go to her house to signify that he remains serious about pursuing her. However, not all love stories start out so great. Glady’s parents didn’t want Christopher for her since he wasn’t a part of the Iglesia community yet.
Although Gladys didn’t shun Christopher, she also didn’t take him that seriously. However, it actually turned out that she had feelings for him. He won her over after five months of courtship, leading him to be her first and last boyfriend ever.
