The 19-year old actress-singer answered a netizen who questioned her for being no-show at the said event.
In the recently concluded press conference for the upcoming teleserye “Sherlock Jr.,” Ruru Madrid’s leading lady Gabbi Garcia was a no-show in the said event. The 19-year old Kapuso Princess revealed that she was confined to the hospital due to her undisclosed sickness.
The singer-actress answered a netizen who questioned her absence at the press conference. She replied to the basher with a photo of her right hand ‘dextrosed.’
“Eto po ah. Sorry po, wala po ako sa presscon dahil naka confine ako,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, another fan also tweeted that Gabbi’s handler reportedly released a statement saying that the actress got diagnosed with “severe kidney infection.”
“Why is Gabbi not present at the Sherlock Jr Presscon? Gabbi was on her way to the presscon when she felt pain at her back. She’s now admitted at the hospital and was diagnosed with severe kidney infection,” the Twitter account said.
After her two days in the hospital, Gabbi was discharged and she is currently in Tokyo, Japan for her endorsement commitment.
