Derrick Monasterio and Barbie Forteza filmed scenes for their upcoming movie, Almost A Love Story, in the Tricase in Salento in Italy. In the teaser trailer of the said movie, Derrick went topless in the snowy Italy while talking to his leading lady.
In an interview, Derrick revealed how felt while shooting the said scene.
“Your body will come into a shock pag na-touch na yung water kasi intense yung lamig, eh. Mag-aadjust kasi yung katawan mo.”
“Nasa script talaga. Sa script, nandun kasi sa script kaya sinunod ko. Si Barbie ang ka-eksena ko at that time. Inaasar niya ako.” Derrick admitted for going shirtless
Apparently, he and Barbie have been close enough that she teased him about his crotch area. Derrick revealed what Barbie admitted to him during her observation.
“May sinasabi siya sa akin, e. Nako-conscious ako pag sinasabi niya. Bumubukol daw!”
Derrick likewise confessed how it flattered him and how he would tease her.
“Nakaka-flatter. Nakakahiya na nakaka-flatter. Close kami. Sinasabi ko sa kanya, ‘Sige nga, tingnan mo nga.’ Siya yung naiilang. Nakikita ko yung mata niya nakatingin. Yung biglang tingin. Uy, huli kita!”
He also shared a dare that they made during filming the said scene.
“Dine-dare ako ni Barbie na maghubad dahil nasa snow kami. Tinatanong niya ko, ‘Kaya mo ba?’ Sabi ko, ‘Pag naghubad ako, maghuhubad ka rin.’ Naghubad siya ng medyas.”
Almost A Love Story also stars Lotlot de Leon, Matet de Leon and Ana Capri. Under the production of BG Productions and also, in cooperation with Salento Cinema in Italy. It is also under the direction of Louie Ignacio. It will soon be released in the Philippines and shown in Italy.
Derrick plays Luigi, a rich painter raised in Italy with a Filipino mother and an Italian father. Barbie, however, plays Baneng, the daughter of the maid of Luigi’s family.
