Kapuso hunk actor Derrick Monasterio is now on the hot seat after his controversial joke posted on his Instagram story. The 22-year old actor received negative comments from netizens on his joke about AIDS.
“Here’s a witty joke. I have a friend who’s miserable because he just found out that he has AIDS.
“My advice: stay positive,” he wrote.
On Twitter, netizens expressed their sentiments on the insensitive joke of the Kapuso actor. Most of them threw their disgust to Derrick and his insensitivity.

Meanwhile, on her latest Instagram story, Derrick apologized for his joke that hurt other people. he also explained that he found it on Twitter and shared it.
“Hi guys! Goodevening! I just saw that joke on Twitter and I didn’t think that it’s gonna be an issue. But sorry if I offended you in a way,” he wrote.
It seems that Derrick already forgot his home network’s campaign about responsible use of social media in “Think Before You Click.”
