- Vice Ganda revealed why filming for “Darna, Kuno” didn’t push through.
- He revealed that it has been planned for a long time.
- However, the Ravelo family have other plans.
Vice Ganda revealed that supposedly, he would star in the remake of “Darna, Kuno” in the recent digital conference last December 7, Thursday. The 1979 comedy movie starred Dolphy where the real Darna got pregnant. Darna then lent her magical stone to Dolphy’s character helping him transform into the superhero.
Vice revealed, “Naplano namin dati iyon. Naka-lineup sa akin iyon.”
He further explained why it didn’t push through:
Sabi ko, ‘I can’t wait anymore. Gusto ko nang maging superhero.'”
“Darna, Kuno” should have been filmed in 2011 after Praybeyt Benjamin.
Vice Ganda also stressed that he would still love to do the said film:
“I would love na gawin yun. Iconic yun, eh.”
