Veteran comedian-TV host Vic Sotto finally broke his silence over the issue of Maine Mendoza getting suspended on the noon time show “Eat Bulaga!” The 63-year old “Eat Bulaga!” host denied the rumored suspension of the ‘Phenomenal Star.’
“Meant To Beh” actor said that he does not know anything about Maine’s decision. However, he respects the 22-year old actress-TV host feelings.
“I’m not really in the know, I’m not privy to anything na personal niyang desisyon.
“Kasi, para sa akin, kung ano man yun… respetuhin na lang natin kung ano man yung mga issues niya, kung ano man yung mga pinagdadaanan niya.
“Siya lang nakakaalam dun. I’m not privy to anything personal pagdating sa kanya,” he said.
According to Vic, he never feels that Maine is going through something.
“Most of the time, nasa barangay siya, nasa studio kami. Parang once a week lang kami nagkakasama sa studio, e, kapag Saturdays. Ako, personally, wala akong nararamdaman,” he said.
Furthermore, Vic also denied the rumored suspension of Maine on the longest running noontime show.
“I don’t know, you can ask Mr. [Tony] Tuviera, wala rin akong alam dun.
“Definitely not. Ba’t naman isususpende siya ng TAPE, ‘no, ng Eat Bulaga? Lalo na kay Mr. Tuviera, respetado niya ‘yang opinyon, pag-iisip, at kung anuman ang pinagdadaanan ng bawat kasama namin sa Dabarkads,” he said.
Meanwhile, Maine is currently in the US until New Year. Her last appearance on “Eat Bulaga!” was on November 27.
