Veteran Hollywood action star Steven Seagal is currently in the Philippines to shoot for his latest TV series that will touch on the issues of drug trafficking and terrorism, In the report of TV Patrol, he mentioned the two topics something that everyone can relate it.
Seagal is currently in Vigan, Ilocos Sur for the shooting of his TV series that has 12 episodes. It will air first on ABS-CBN and later to be broadcasted in 30 more countries. The series is co-produced by Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Councilor Luis “Chavit” Singson.
The actor shared that 90% of the crew are Filipinos. Seagal’s director Philippe Martinez expressed his appreciation to the Filipinos that they are hard workers and easy to work with.
Steven stated that he is happy to be back in the Philippines and he loves the country so much. He revealed that he is visiting the country since the time of the late former President Ferdinand Marcos.
He also shared that he admires President Rodrigo Duterte for his campaign against drugs. Seagal met with the president last October 12. In the statement released by the Office of the President in Philippine Star that the president has been instrumental in making the Philippines a safer place, which is the opposite of tagging the country as one of the dangerous places.
Seagal aims to finish the TV series entitled “General Commander” by January 2018.
