Piolo Pascual left the Philippines last December 13, Wednesday. Piolo also received a Variety Asian Stars: Up Next special award at the International Film Festival Awards in Macau (IFFAM). Director Joyce Bernal came along with him. In his acceptance speech, he let the audience know and also, the IFFAM committee that he felt grateful for representing his country.
“JUST IN: Piolo Pascual leaving for Macau today to attend the 2nd International Film Festival Awards (IFFAM). Piolo is one of the Ten “Asian Star Up Next” awardees. Joining him in Macau is Director Joyce Bernal.”
On an Instagram post from Star Magic Philippines, Piolo also walked the red carpet of the IFFAM where he received Variety Asian Stars: Up Next special award.

Moreover, Piolo got to meet the IFFAM Management Head, Ms. Lorna Tee.

In his acceptance speech, he also shared that the said trip was his first time in Macau. He added that he is happy in representing the Philippines.
“Thank you very much to IFFAM. It’s my first time in Macau, and I’m happy to represent the Philippines. I’m really proud to be here tonight. Again, thank you for this award and I hope to see you guys somewhere in time.”
