Paulo Avelino hopes that his performance in “Ang Larawan” would be acknowledged in 2017’s Metro Manila Film Festival. But, he would rather have the movie win the “Best Picture” instead of receiving the “Best Actor” award.
He sang in “Ang Larawan” which based on late National Artist Nick Joaquin’s popular play. When asked if his performance in the said movie would be good enough to win an award, he answered:
“Oo naman. But more than my personal desire na manalo bilang Best Actor, mas masisiyahan ako kapag nanalo ng Best Picture ang Larawan.”
“I hope every Filipino moviegoers would watch this movie. Napakaganda at napakatindi ng lessons na gustong i-convey.”
He also added:
“I’m glad I’m part of the movie.”
“Ang Larawan” will be on theaters nationwide on December 25, Christmas Day. It also stars Joanna Ampil and Rachel Alejandro. Also, Sandino Martin, Cris Villonco, Aicelle Santos and Nonie Buencamino. Including, Menchu Lauchengco, Robert Arevalo and also Celeste Legaspi.
