Fresh from their theatrical run, “Woke Up Like This” and “Fangirl Fanboy” are making their premiere on SKY Movies Pay-Per-View and can be enjoyed with other movies until December 15.
Vhong Navarro and Lovi Poe are reunited in “Woke Up Like This” after being in the ensemble cast of a “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” installment in 2012. However, this is the first time the two will be starring opposite each other.
In the movie, they two play completely different strangers whose fates are intertwined when they wake up one day in each others’ bodies. Vhong is Lando, a promising basketball player dubbed ‘King of the Basketball Court.’ Meanwhile, Lovi plays Sabrina, a ramp queen vying for ‘Supermodel of the World Wide Philippines.’ The switch becomes a barrier to achieving their dreams so they must figure out how they were swapped and how to go back before it’s too late.
Back-to-back with “Woke Up Like This” is another movie that’s making its Philippine TV premiere on SKY MOVIES PPV. “Fangirl, Fanboy” is headlined by teen dance royalty Ella Cruz and Julian Trono. The story is every fan’s dream come true, a chance to fall in love with their idols.
Aimee (Ella) is a talented and sought–after dubber who will get the once in a lifetime chance to work with her idol, Ollie, an up and coming actor played by Julian Trono. Aimee makes Ollie a better actor and works with him to help him clinch a coveted role until the two become more than just fangirl and idol.
