Pinoy Boyband Superstar finalist Mark Oblea recently signed a recording deal with Universal Records joining the recording company’s elite roster of OPM talents like Gary Valenciano, Christian Bautista, Noel Cabangon, The CompanY, Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc-9, Sponge Cola, Aiza Seguerra, Claudia Barretto, Donny Pangilinan, Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona among others.
Present during the contract signing are Universal Records executives, Kathleen Dy Go (General Manager), Peter Chan (Operations Manager) and head of Cornerstone Entertainment, Erickson Raymundo.

After making it to the finals night of Pinoy Boyband Superstar, Mark immediately bagged two major TV projects. He became a part of ABS-CBN primetime hit weekend series “Wansapanataym: Presents My Hair Lady” and “My Dear Heart” which his natural skill in acting was showcased. Both under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment.
This 22-year-old young heartthrob is set to pursue his passion for music. He writes his own songs and plays the guitars. His distinct voice and character make him stand out from the crowd and charm his audiences.
Mark Oblea is set to release his debut single in the first quarter of 2018.
