The senator and his wife recently posted separate photos on Instagram. The Philippine Army promoted Manny Pacquiao to army colonel after he submitted his commandment’s paper.
Applicants need to complete the said requirement to finish the General Command and Staff course in order to receive the rank.
Previously, Manny held the rank as Lieutenant Colonel in 2011. He also claimed that his being a Saranggani representative made him a candidate for promotion.
“Today, I successfully defended my Commandant’s paper to promoted to a full Colonel. 🇵🇭”
Manny first entered the Army’s reserve force as Sergeant in April 2006. Then, became Technical Sergeant in December that same year.
