GMA Network and ABS-CBN’s primetime and afternoon block will be filled with drama, love, kilig, revenge, action and comedy series.
This 2018, two of the major networks of the country are set to offer fresh new concepts of teleseryes for their loyal viewers. LionhearTV listed down the TV series that will surely conquer Philippine TV.
The Blood Sisters (ABS-CBN)
Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee and Ejay Falcon will reunite and prove their acting chops in the upcoming series “The Blood Sisters.” Erich will play triplets named Agatha, Ericka and Carrie.
The Stepdaughters (GMA Network)
Starring Megan Young, Mikael Daez and Katrina Halili. The Stepdaughters will be about the rivalry between Mayumi (Megan) and Isabelle (Katrina). Although they grew up in a simple neighborhood, Mayumi and Isabelle are not meant to be friends at all. Their rivalry worsens when Isabelle’s father decided to marry Mayumi’s mother. Making them stepsisters.
A rival on the attention of their families and fighting for their own honor and inheritance. are also fighting against each other for the same man (Mikael). Which of the two will win the game of life and love?
Sana Dalawa Ang Puso (ABS-CBN)
Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap will once again spread kilig vibes to viewers via their new series “Sana Dalawa ang Puso,” which also stars Robin Padilla.
Sherlock Jr. (GMA Network)
Starring Ruru Madrid, Gabbi Garcia and Janine Guiterrez. A GabRu love team reunion project, Sherlock, Jr. will feature, a four-year-old golden retriever, Serena. Janine underwent workshops and training since she will be the one who will always be with their furry little co-star.
Asintado (ABS-CBN)
“Asintado” stars the Kapamilya versatile actress Julia Montes and Aljur Abrenica. Other stars of “Asintado” include Lorna Tolentino, Cherry Pie Picache and Shaina Magdayao.
The One That Got Away (GMA Network)
This romantic-comedy series features three Kapuso leading ladies: Lovi Poe, Max Collins, and Rhian Ramos who are all attracted to one man, played by Dennis Trillo.
No Ordinary Love (ABS-CBN)
“No Ordinary Love,” features Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual, with Arci Muñoz and JC De Vera. The series also marks the television debut of box-office love team ‘ AlEmpoy’ of Alessandra De Rossi and Empoy Marquez.
Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka (GMA Network)
Considered as an advocacy-themed teleserye, “Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka” will revolve around the life of Yasmien Kurdi’s character after being infected with HIV. The show also features Mike Tan, Martin del Rosario, Jackie Rice and Ina Feleo.
Bagani (ABS-CBN)
ABS-CBN’s most anticipated teleserye of 2018, “Bagani” will be the TV comeback of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. The fantaserye also includes Sofia Andres, Matteo Guidicelli and Makisig Morales.
Contessa (GMA Network)
After her exceptional portrayal as Pirena on the most successful telefantasya on Philippine TV “Encantadia,” Glaiza de Castro is set to make her TV comeback via revenge-drama series “Contessa.” The show also stars Gabby Eigenmann, Geoff Eigenmann, Jak Roberto and Lauren Young.

2018 seems exciting and interesting with the upcoming teleserye “Playhouse” starring Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo. Former PBB housemate Kisses Delavin will also join the cast of this family-comedy-drama series
Bongga ka Day (GMA Network)
“Bonnga Ka Day” will star Barbie Forteza and Derrick Monasterio. This won’t be their only project for 2018, Barbie and Derrick will also star in a new movie, “Almost A Love Story.” They are set to film the movie in Europe. Prior to these, Barbie and Derick have worked together as a love team in numerous teleseryes “Mariposa,” “AnnaKareNina,” “Luna Blanca,” and the hit teleserye “The Half Sisters.”
