TAPE and APT Entertainment big boss Tony Tuviera announced that the “Kalyeserye” lolas played by Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros will temporarily be on break this 2018.
JoWaPao will offer something new this upcoming year to their fans and loyal “Eat Bulaga!” viewers.
“Magpapahinga na muna ang mga lola, kumbaga, they will be hosting the segment (Sugod Bahay/All For Juan, Juan For All) as themselves, and expect more exciting surprises from them,” Tony Tuviera confirmed.
According to ‘Eat Bulaga!” big boss, the segment of JoWaPao “Juan For All, All For Juan” is the highest rating segment of the longest-running noontime show in Asia. The segment also includes ‘Phenomenal Love Team” Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
Tony Tuviera also revealed that JoWaPao is being groomed as the next TVJ. However, he said that the ‘magic’ of TVJ is still incomparable. He also compared the late Fernando Poe Jr. and Comedy King Dolphy to the “Eat Bulaga!” pillars.
“Kasi iba pa rin talaga yung magic nila,” he said.
“Hindi mo masabi kung sinong papalit sa kanila habang nandiyan sila. Kumbaga, institusyon, e,” Tony Tuviera said.
