As one of the closest friends of the late Hashtags member Franco Hernandez, Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake admitted that it was difficult for him to move from the incident.
The 20-year old actor shared how Hashtags became stronger after the loss of their brother.
“It took me a while like siguro a week or two. Well we have to move on after what happened, [pero] medyo nahirapan ako,” he said.
The “Haunted Forest” actor relayed that he shared a lot of good moments with Franco.
”We were really close like we go out together, eat, watch movies, gimik minsan, ganon. So ‘yun parang we almost have the same personality. It’s like I’m looking at the mirror na makulit siya, makulit din ako pag kasama ko siya so we got along very well. And it was actually the first time for me to experience losing a friend so it had a big impact on me so when I heard about the news so it took a while to move on,” he stated.
“Well it was just in the mindset. I just had to think positive and just I think as a group (referring to Hashtags), we became stronger as a group and everything we are doing parang ganon. Kasi parang I kind of felt it brought us closer kasi we all felt that we had the same state of mind when that happened,” he answered how he managed to handle from despair he felt.
The Cinema One Originals 2016 Best Supporting actor also reacted on the controversies that began to float after Franco’s death. He said that it would be better to keep quiet as respect to his close friend.
“I think it’s better to let him rest and peace na lang kasi his parents said Franco doesn’t like complications so I think it’s better not to build more complications with this issue di ba? So parang just keep quiet na lang,” he ended.
