The 30-year old actor on his 30th birthday: “Be more mature and enter that stage in my life.”
On his latest guesting on the Kapamilya late night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” actor Jake Cuenca wishes that his MMFF 2017 entry “Ang Panday” would be successful. The 30-year old actor wanted that the film will make a mark in Philippine cinema.
“Honestly, what I want lang talaga is for the movie to be great. This movie, it’s already great, pero it has a tendency to go down in history and that’s my birthday wish,” he said.
In the Coco Martin movie, Jake portrayed the main antagonist of Flavio, the evil Lizardo.
“For next year? Let’s see what the year has in store. Sabi ko, this year has been a great year for me. ‘Yung TV show mataas ang rating, and I’m part of this huge, huge movie. I’m so happy with the reviews and I’m so grateful. But even a great year has ups and downs,” he said.
For Jake, he wish for himself to be more mature and hoping for the new chapter in life.
“So pagdating sa akin, there are still things that I need to do before I turn 30, be more mature and enter that stage in my life with a different perspective na,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jake celebrated his 30th birthday on December 30, 2107, two days before 2017 ends.
