Kapuso versatile actress Glaiza de Castro is gearing up for her television comeback via afternoon teleserye “Contessa.” The upcoming series will take the time slot of the hit series “Ika-6 Na Utos.”
In the recently launched omnibus plug for 2018 of GMA Network, the said series was one of the series to be watched out this upcoming year.
The 29-year old actress is thankful for the new project after her great performance as Pirena in “Encantadia.”
“Thank you, Lord for giving me this opportunity to tell another empowering story, meet new people and work with friends,” she said.
Prior to this, rumors spread like fire that the HIV-themed teleserye starring Yasmien Kurdi, Mike Tan, Jackie Rice and Martin del Rosario will replace the Sunshine Dizon-starrer however it seems that the rumors were just rumors.
“Contessa” also serves as the reunion project of Glaiza and Geoff Eigenmann after “Grazilda.”
The show also features Jak Roberto, Lauren Young, Phytos Ramirez, Gabby Eigenmann, Dominic Roco, and veteran actors Chanda Romero, Tetchie Agbayani and Leandro Baldemor.
