She shared that actors she has always worked with never became arrogant.
Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina recently opened up about newbies in the showbiz industry. Although she didn’t drop any names, she expressed her annoyance towards the unnamed actor/actress.
Direk Cathy has always been frank and expressive. Meanwhile, she reprimands newbie actors who, in her own words, “nagyayabang.”
“Gigil na gigil ako sa mga artistang wala pang napapatunayan, nauna pang magyabang. Hindi ko keri talaga.”
Then, she continued:
“Kasi sa akin, parang, ‘Why are you even there? Hindi ka naman artista, hindi ka naman sisikat, if not for the people who supported you and believed in you. Ngayong aarte-arte ka, ayaw mong magpa-picture? Ang kapal ng mukha mo ‘di ba?!”
Moreover, she spoke out that professional actors she worked with never became arrogant.
“I have worked with John Lloyd Cruz, and now I have worked with Sharon Cuneta, Robin Padilla. These are stars that have made it and who have proven themselves. Hindi ko nakitaan ng ganyan.”
She ended her comments with:
“Tapos ikaw kabago-bago mo, ganyan ka? Ay naku gusto ko durugin!”
“To me, you have no right. No one has the right na magyabang ka diyan at ipagmalaki mo kung ano ang narating mo, dahil wala pa.”
