- Derek Ramsay earned his 2nd Best Actor award at the recently concluded 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival at the Kia Theater.

Derek Ramsay’s performance in Metro Manila Film Festival entry, ‘All of You,’ earned him the Best Actor award. He also received the Male Star of the Night Award along with Erich Gonzales as the female counterpart.
In a photo he uploaded on Instagram, the caption also read: “Thank you to mmff for this prestigious award. I’m so proud that my son witnessed this unforgettable experience. @dan_villegas thank you for guiding me and helping me bring life to Gab. Tnx to @mercadojenny for being such a great leading lady. Salamat sa lahat ng team #allofyou mas lalo na Kay Atty Joji, Carl and patty. Love you all. Congratulations to all of us.”
In his acceptance speech, one of the people he thanked was his leading lady, Jennylyn Mercado.
“Of course, my leading lady, Jennylyn, she makes me feel so comfortable, she brings the best out in me when we do our scenes together so Jen, it’s sad that you’re not here but thank you very much I share this with you.”
Ramsay received his first Best Actor in Metro Manila Film Festival in 2014 film, ‘English Only, Please’ which he also starred with Mercado Mercado and under direction of Dan Villegas.
