Coco Martin deserves a vacation. After working continuously for months, the actor-director-producer deserves to give himself a present for his backbreaking work. His hard work paid off as his 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Ang Panday,” turns to be a certified blockbuster. Viewers were certainly entertained as the production gave a new point-of-view to the historical piece of Carlo J. Caparas that Fernando Poe, Jr. made famous.
“Ang Panday” currently goes on head-to-head against dear friend, Vice Ganda with his own entry, “Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad.” The last time they became a part of the MMFF, they promoted the same movie, “Beauty and the Bestie.” The said movie went on to become a box office hit.
However, at this year’s Parade of Stars, they stood on different floats as they encouraged fans to watch their respective entries. With rumors that the two had a spat, fans thought the bad blood continued to grow between them. These rumors went out the window when Coco climbed up Vice’s float.
