The bashing continues as Angel Locsin remains in the top-rating teleserye of ABS-CBN La Luna Sangre. This time the criticism is about having a double.
One of Angel’s fans posted on Twitter that he was carried away with the fight scene of Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) and Jacinta (Angel) in the series.
Twitter handle @alryanc0504 posted “Dahan dahan lang Jacintha baka mapuruhan mo ang Punong Bantay @143redangel #LLSBurriedAlive” (Roughly translated as “Take is easy Jacinta, you might kill the head guardian”).
After that post, @imdxnielfxrd replied a photo of Kathryn as Malia with a girl with the red hood, which is obviously referring to Angel’s double in the fight scenes.
The fan who replied immediately reacted with a photo of Kathryn with a girl encircled that is likely referred to as the double because of the similar costume.
The handle @imdxnielfxrd responded with a post of @abscbnpr with a caption “Resibo pa po” (Here’s another receipt). The @abscbnpr post is about Direk Lester (Pimentel) saying that Kathryn doesn’t have doubles in the fight scene during the digital conference of the show a few months ago. The fan tagged Angel in this post.
Angel answers back to the fan with a message “Sure kang gusto mo ng ganyang laban? Believe me, wag mo na ipush” (Roughly translated as: “Are you sure you want to do this? Believe me, you don’t want to push it”)
This is not the first time that Angel faces a backlash from some of the fans of Kathryn. Their main reason for the bashing is that it is Kathryn and Daniel Padilla’s time to shine on the show, whereas Angel only just returned.
They thought her stint on the TV series was only for the first two weeks. However, Angel’s return on the show as another character (or we don’t know yet) contributes to the plot of the story.
