Saraika apologizes to AlDub fans for the incident.
After Thai host Ning Saraika posted the video clip during her interview with ‘Pambansang Bae’ Alden Richards, she immediately received bashing and negative comments from loyal AlDub fans. On the video posted, the female Thai host claimed that the Kapuso actor is single on her caption.
Loyal AlDub fans were shocked and disappointed about what happened and began to post negative comments toward the host. Saraika did not expect that Pinoy fans of the ‘phenomenal love team’ would react violently on the video.
“OMG!!! This went too far!! Dear fans, it was just a joke on stage! I asked if he is single and he said yes just to please the Thai fans. He has no intention to lie at all. Pls don’t get me wrong,” she explained in the comment section.
“In order to make you feel better, I will delete the sentence that he is single. Once again it was just a joke on stage to please Thai fans. I love your all because I’m a big fan of his too,” she said on her other comment.
On her other IG post, she took the opportunity to explain herself and apologize to AlDub fans worldwide.
“To #aldenrichards fans!! I was the host of #JKNMegashowcase last night and the first question was ‘Are you single?’ He replied ‘Yes’, just to please the Thai fans .. that’s it! I am so sorry I did not know that he has a girlfriend and I am sure he has no intention of lying, he just wanted to please to Thai fans. Please don’t bash him, Please don’t hate me I was just doing my work and never thought it would go this far. I am sorry I might have disappointed you but as I said .. it was just to please Thai fans. Peace,” the caption read.
