She shared about her love for the craft and the preparations she had for the role.
Sue Ramirez went from television series to another. She played Catleya, a protagonist in La Luna Sangre. Then, she will be playing Anna Lamoste in Hanggang Saan.
She explained why she was leaving La Luna Sangre:
“Actually po ‘yung career ko, in-entrust ko sa Star Magic, so lahat po ng desisyon na ginawa, I’ll let them make the decisions kasi hindi ko po alam kung ano ang gagawin, lost pa tayo sa industriyang ito, it was more of a management decision than mine.”
Sue also added that she happily auditioned for the role of Anna. She also shared that she’s happy to have been a part of the supernatural series, La Luna Sangre.
“I auditioned for this (Hanggang Saan) while doing La Luna Sangre, ‘yun nga po ibinigay ang role na Anna so I get the chance to work with them.”
“Siguro po nakita ng management na maggo-grow ako kung dito ako ilalagay. At sobrang happy po ako na naging part ako ng La Luna Sangre.”
Sue shared some details about preparing for the role of Anna. She also wanted people to know that she got the role because she deserves it and worked hard for it.
“Matagal ko pong pinaghandaan ‘yun, matagal kong ginutom ang sarili ko para lang sa Baler. Itong show na ‘to…tinulungan po ako ng show na ito na makita ang mga plano sa akin at kailangan kong mag-comply sa mga role nan ire-require sa akin.”
“Kailangan kong ipakita sa show na kinuha nila ako kasi deserving ako, kaya ipapakita ko talaga na gagawin ko ang best ko at gagawin ko lahat.”
She was asked if it’s okay for her to be a supporting role. She answered happily and said:
“Opo, wala naman akong reklamo sa trabahong ibinibigay sa akin, lahat ay opportunity na magawa ko yung craft na mahal na mahal ko which is acting so for as long as may trabaho ako, gagawin ko ‘yung best ko na hinihingi from me, wala akong reklamo. Wala akong tinitingnan na estado ng career, as long as I have work, masayang-masaya na po ako.”
Sue will be in Hanggang Saan with Sylvia Sanchez and Ariel Rivera. Also, Teresa Loyzaga and Maris Racal. Then, Yves Flores, Mario Mortel and Arjo Atayde.
