Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo recalled having a fallback girl during his teenage life.
“Fallback” stars Rhian Ramos and Zanjoe Marudo shared their ‘fallback’ experiences. In an interview with PEP.ph at the press conference of their upcoming movie, the newest love team admitted they had their ‘fallback’ relationships.
Rhian revealed that she once experience being a ‘fallback.’
“‘Yung na-experience ko is ako yung naging fallback noong una. He was in a relationship and he was making me ligaw at the same time.
“Pero hindi ko maseryoso beacause obviously, he’s in a relationship. So I went into a different direction tapos na in love ako sa iba and then noong nagka-boyfriend na ako, siya naman yung nagbreak with his girlfriend.
“So at the back of my head, iniisip ko talaga siya, ‘Ah, kung kailan naman!’ Parang ganun.
“So parang in some way, mentally, fallback ko siya. Kasi iniisip ko lang what if it doesn’t work out, single pa rin siya,” she revealed.
She eventually entered in a realtionship with her fallback guy who happened to be a celebrity. “Natuloy ‘yon. Pero messy siya so parang I would not probably consider that again, siguro, at this point,” she added.
On the other hand, Zanjoe admitted he once had a fallback girl who eventually became his girlfriend.
“Hindi ko siya ex, parang MU tapos may gusto akong iba. Parang na in love ako sa ibang babae. Teenager pa ako,” he started.
“So ganun, parang MU kami tapos na in love ako dun sa isang girl. Tapos noong hindi natuloy, noong parang nagkaproblema, hindi nagwork. Tinuloy ko, parang yun yung naging girlfriend ko,” he added.
Zanjoe was also asked if the girl knew that she was a fallback.
“Alam niya kasi nagpaalam ako, e. E, siyempre sasabihin niya, okay, pero wala naman kasing commitment so deep inside siyempre, masakit yun. Pero sa kanya din naman ako bumagsak, e!”
