Tired of carrying around your big Instant Print camera and having out of frame photos since you asked someone else to take a photo of you? Worry no more since the HP Sprocket Printer is for you.
The Sprocket is a rechargeable small portable bluetooth instant printer (try saying that in one go) that charges via Micro USB and prints your photo in a snap. It also doesn’t need ink since it uses ZINK which is a proprietary zero-Ink technology that uses heat to print your photos. Inside the box is the printer, a micro USB cable, 10 ZINK sticky back papers, QR code to the app and a quick start guide.
Setup is pretty easy as well, just insert the photo paper inside the printer, and if you have an NFC Enabled device, all you need to do is tap your phone on the device itself and it will prompt you to download the app, once on the app just select the photo you want to print and voila! You’ll have the photo printed in seconds!
You can print any photo you want on the paper and with the sticky back ones you’ll be able to stick your photos anywhere and even make labels! The printouts have a good quality and compared to other instant printers they have a thinner paper, have no borders, and you’ll even have the option to cut them.
This works best for spontaneous meetups like meeting your favorite celebrity, you can have a photo taken, print it, and have them sign it all in a short moment.
VERDICT: Portability wise this printer is thinner than bringing your own instant camera. The printer is glossy and you’ll notice small scuffs just leaving it in your bag, but it won’t affect its performance, also when paired with a good smartphone camera, this printer can do wonders and is a great addition to your on the go lifestyle.
