PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson shared that she will enter law school next year.
Several netizens questioned eligibility of Presidential Communication Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary (Assec) Mocha Uson’s admission to law school.
On Wednesday, November 22, Uson announced her entry to Arellano University School of Law next year.
In her social media posts via Facebook and Twitter, Uson revealed that she will be studying law at the Arellano University starting January 2018.
“Starting January po mag sisimula po tayong mag aral sa Arellano University School of Law upang mas lumawak pa ang ating kaalaman sa batas,” she tweeted.
But several netizens raised questions about Uson’s eligibility since she did not take and pass the PhilSat exam which is a prerequisite to entering law school.
“How is that possible? You didn’t pass the PhiLSAT, a required exam to enrol in Law School. Conditional admission ba yan?,” a netizen tweeted.
“FYI: Per Legal Education Board Memorandum Order 7 series of 2016, PhiLSAT is a prerequisite for admission to basic law courses leading to either a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree beginning SY 2017 – 2018. Mocha is not one of the passers for both May & Sept’17 PhiLSAT,” she added.
Aside from Magutlapig here are other netizens who shared concerns and questions regarding Mocha Uson’s admission to the law school.
But while there were those who questioned Uson’s eligibility, there were also those who cheered and showed support for her plans.
Just recently Uson was included in the list of possible senatorial candidates of the ruling party PDP-Laban. No less than House Speaker and party secretary general Pantaleon Alvarez announced Mocha’s senate bid.
While Mocha said she was surprised with her inclusion in the list, the Uson did not confirm nor deny the possibility. She also hinted her willingness when she said, if President Duterte asked her to run, then she might do it.
Mocha Uson is one of the well known staunch supporters of President Duterte. Prior to her appointment in PCOO, Uson served as Board Member at the MTRCB. She also runs the Facebook page Mocha Uson Blog.
Uson was part of the all-female group Mocha Girls.
