Kapamilya actress Myrtle Sarrosa was unveiled as the newest calendar girl of Ginebra. The 22-year old will showcase her toned and curvy figure on the 2018 calendar. In a interview with Abante Tonite via text message, Myrtle shared how grateful she was for this new milestone on her career.
“I’m so grateful that for this coming year 2018, ako ang napili ng Ginebra and GSM Blue to be their calendar girl,” she said.
“Actually, na-pressure ako dahil this is the 30th year of their calendar and all their calendar girls tumatak talaga. Kaya nu’ng una natakot ako okay lang ba itabi pangalan ko sa kanila? They’re so successful. Hahaha!” she added.
Ginebra’s 2018 calendar will feature unique themes. With this, Myrtle was asked if she helped conceptualize.
“Kakaiba ‘yung concept for the calendar this year. Instead na pumunta sa beach at mag-bikini, we’re putting costumes on.,” she stated.
“‘Yung idea for the calendar was a team effort. Pero sobrang suwerte ko that for the first time sa isang calendar, Ginebra allowed me na maging hands on sa calendar na ito. Pinakinggan nila ‘yung ideas ko for the characters at kasama ako in creating the layout for the calendar at sa paggawa ng costumes. Ang tagal namin siyang pinaghandaan at pinag-isipan,” she shared.
