The “Locally Fruit Truck” was launched at the heart of Bonifacio High Street
When you hear a truck that goes… “fruit! fruit!,” that’s definitely NutriAsia’s Locally Juices in their new look and quirky flavors. Beginning this week, “Locally Fruit Truck” will be sprouting around the metro to serve the Filipinos’ favorite fruits and dishes that will remind them of simpler times and make them proud to be native!
“Now, we want to bring this unique experience closer to more Filipinos by rolling out the Locally Fruit Truck starting with this launch, like how our classic ice cream trucks brought us a refreshing kind of happiness and nostalgia on its wheels,” says Gretchen King, group product manager specialty F&B at NutriAsia.
On Friday, November 24, the roadtrip officially started and landed first at Bonifacio High Street, where bystanders, free-spirited millennials, tourists, and workers can instantly feel refreshed once they try the mixed juices and cocktails offered at the truck. There were four flavors: Rosa Pomelo, Kalikasan, Marikit, and Sinag. For the alcoholic mixes, there were Maharlika Mojito and Salaguinto.
The newest tastes of the Locally Juices are of course, packed again with witty titles. Now in can, comes “Tamarind My Bell (Tamarind),” “Pomelong & Lasting Love (Pomelo),” “Save The Best for SinigueLAST (Siniguelas),” “Calamansi’z the Day (Calamansi),” “Guyabano-body But You (Guyabano),” “You’ve Dalandanan It Again (Dalandan),” and “Mangosteenie Miney Mo (Mangosteen).”
It was also a night of OPM as Locally Juices promotes love for the nation and its rich culture. Aside from the great food and drinks served, the crowd were also spoiled with good music coming from musicians Quest and Keiko Necessario.
