- They launched their upcoming series, ‘Bagani,’ with fellow stars, Sofia Andres, Makisig Morales.
- They also revealed a little bit about the story of the much anticipated series.
ABS-CBN Corporation had their trade event last November 28, Tuesday. In the said event, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil launched their new television series, ‘Bagani.’ This also stars Sofia Andres, Makisig Morales and Matteo Guidicelli.
From a strawberry farmer and resident bad boy in Forevermore. Then, an Italian princess and a sickly hardworking boy in Dolce Amore. Now, they are tribal warriors in Bagani. A Bagani is tribal warrior. They serve and protect their tribes.
Star Creatives posted a photo on Instagram teasing fans for the upcoming series. With the caption:
“The cast of #Bagani! Catch it on ABS-CBN soon!”
According to rumors, the cast in the upcoming series are the five basic elements of the universe: Earth (Enrique), Air (Liza), Fire (Matteo), Wood (Makisig) and Water (Sofia).

These elements also mean Movement, Change, and Development. They are changing, moving, waning, and expanding all the time.

Bagani will be replacing FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano timeslot. Although, this will probably start around February 2018.

Ylona Garcia and Bailey May were originally part of the main cast, but were pulled out due to conflicting schedules. The respective roles of Ylona and Bailey were finally given to Sofia and Makisig in the final casting.

Liza is set to play this generation’s Darna in the upcoming Erik Matti reboot. While Enrique is working on a family-centered dramatic comedy film with Cathy Garcia-Molina called “Seven Sundays”.
