Jonalyn expressed her regrets for the things she never got the chance to tell him
27-year-old Birit Queen Jona Viray had always wanted to take her father abroad. She desired for her family to experience how her work environment feels like, the ins and outs of it. Unfortunately, her father passed too soon.
Fernando Viray was 51 years old when he died from rhino cerebral mucor micosis, a fungal infection in the sinus that spread through the brain. He suffered aneurysm and stroke and went to coma.
“Daddy sana in the future maka-sama sa mga out of country trips ko, ‘yun po ‘yung isa sa mga dreams ko sa family ko,” Jona said in tears describing what she could’ve told her father when he was still alive.
During her grand media press conference for the upcoming “Prima Jona” concert in Solaire, the singer shared some stories about her father.
“‘God bless you! Pagpalain ka ng Panginoon!’ ganiyan po siya, kulang nalang po mag Pastor na siya talaga eh!” she said while reminiscing her father’s religious reminders for her. She also said that he always wanted to become a preacher.
Jona will be dedicated her solo concert for her father.
