One of “It’s Showtime” boy group member, Franco Hernandez arrived dead at the hospital after drowning in a co-Hashtags member Tom Doromal’s resort in Davao, Occidental this afternoon. The official Twitter account of ABS-CBN News confirmed the tragic incident.
Franco’s real name was Franco Miguel Hernandez Lumanlan. He is an actor, known for Kaleidoscope World (2013), It’s Showtime (2012) and Ipaglaban mo (2014).
According to reports, Franco was off to go back to the coast of North Lamidan, Don Marcelino town, accompanied by his girlfriend and a fellow Hashtags member. A strong wave hit the boat they were riding on, causing the young performer to fall to the waters. Immediately, he was sent to a nearby clinic in Malita but unfortunately came too late to recover.
The news was taken badly by Franco’s showbiz friends and especially by his “It’s Showtime” family.
TV comedian and host Vice Ganda also took his grief to social media.
What happened after and to Franco’s companions are yet to be reported.
