The last four entires for the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival were announced at the Club Filipino in Greenhills last November 17, Friday. Completing the line-up are Deadma Walking, Siargao, Haunted Forest and Ang Larawan.
The Metro Manila Film Festival is an annual film festival which runs from December 25 through the first weekend of January of the following year. During the course of the festival, only films approved by the jurors of the MMFF are shown in movie theaters.
Deadma Walking
The friendship of two gay best friends for life is put to the test when John (Joross Gamboa) admits that he has cancer to Mark (Edgar Allan Guzman). John asks Mark to help him stage his fake death, fake wake, and fake funeral as his dying wish.

Siargao
Directed by Paul Soriano, Siargao is a film about finding and losing yourself and falling in and out of love. Erich Gonzales, Jasmine Curtis and Jericho Gonzales to cast the said film.
The film was shot in the island of Siargao for six weeks.
Ang Larawan
Ang Larawan the Musical was based on A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino by National Artist Nick Joaquin. The film was set in 1941 just before World War II in a mansion in Manila.
Directed by Loy Arcenas. He is also a former Broadway production designer.
Haunted Forest
This film about a malevolent entity in the woods is directed by Ian Lorenos and stars Jane Oineza, Jameson Blake, Maris Racal and also, Jon Lucas. Under Regal Films.
