Jeepney TV brings two exciting programs to heat up its primetime row – ABS-CBN’s hit drama series “Doble Kara” and Korean fantasy-thriller “Sensory Couple” (The Girl Who See Smells) — in continuing celebration of the cable channel’s 5th anniversary.
The home of timeless and well-loved ABS-CBN shows, Jeepney TV recently introduced its new station ID “Enjoy Ang Trip” on “ASAP,” celebrating the joys of delivering the best of Pinoy pop culture to viewers by bringing back unforgettable moments on television.
This week, the 2015 K-drama “Sensory Couple” as well as the 2016 PMPC Star Awards and ALTA Media Icon Award Best Daytime Drama “Doble Kara” start their much-awaited run on the cable channel.
The former Kapamilya Gold program stars Julia Montes as twins Kara Dela Rosa and Sara Suarez who have to face revenge plans and conquer tests on their sisterhood. Also part of the powerhouse cast are Carmina Villarroel, Mylene Dizon, Ariel Rivera, Allen Dizon, Sam Milby, Alicia Alonzo, Maxene Magalona, Edgar Allan Guzman, and John Lapus.
In “Sensory Couple,” Park Yoo-chun stars as Officer Choi Moo Gak who lost his younger sister to a murder case and also lost his sense of smell and taste and is unable to feel pain. Shin Se-kyung takes on the role of Oh Cho Rim, a witness to the murder of her parents, and now possesses a special sense, the ability to see smells. Together, they team up to solve the mystery of a series of death they allude to a Barcode serial killer.
Catch “Doble Kara” at 7pm and “Sensory Couple” at 9pm, Mondays thru Fridays. Also, the K-drama “My Lovely Girl” returns Monday to Friday at 11:20am.
