The 28-year old actress talked about her being ‘maldita.’
On the latest interview of PUSH.com with Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes, she said that her priority is her career now before planning to have second child with her husband Ali Khatibi.
“Well, possible naman pero mas maganda siguro na balik muna ulit ako sa trabaho kasi medyo matagal din akong nagpahinga,” she stated.
Cristine also talked about the ‘maldita’ tag and admitted she was misunderstood for being straight forward.
“Well, aminado naman ako na hindi nawala yung pagka-maldita ko. People think na maldita ako but it’s just being transparent which people doesn’t accept it. Gusto nila yung pa-sweet, pa-tweetums which I’m not like that,” she said.
“So, I think I’m still the same. It’s just that, ang gusto lang ng mga tao siguro, gusto nila yung pa-sweet. Parang I’m not like that, eh. They find me maldita because of being real,” she added.
“Siguro, ang nabawas yung pagiging straight to the point ko. Minsan, pag meron akong mga issues sa ibang tao, dati talagang… minsan sa social media ko dinadaan. Pero ngayon, natuto na ako na maging civil na lang. At saka, being a mother, siguro nagiging protective din lang ako sa anak ko,”
On the other hand, Cristine clarified the ‘controlling wife’ issue with her husband.
“Not naman controlling. He’s just being ano, nagre-remind lang siya sa akin. Si Ali, very ano siya, eh, cordial, very family man and conservative.”
