Received various acting awards, Christopher de Leon is definitely holds a quality performance. His family is also in showbiz. He doesn’t have anything to prove anymore but he wishes that there should be a regulation on shooting teleseryes.
Actors film episodes of teleseryes in advance. The said episodes don’t air until it’s edited and finalized. Actors don’t receive another acting project while filmed episodes haven’t aired yet.
Joe Barrameda wrote on his column on Abante, “Ang siste kasi ay madalas ang artista ay very advance ang taping ng isang teleserye na maagang natatapos pero hindi agad naie-ere. So ang mga artista ay hindi makatanggap ng bagong project until maipalabas ang teleseryeng ginawa at baka magkaroon ng conflict sa ginawang teleserye.”
He also told the columnist that actors suffer and lose income with this kind of process. He also wish that there should be a regulation about this issue. “Ang mga artista ang nagsa-suffer at mawawalan ng income. Wish ni Boyet na magkaroon ng regulation tungkol dito.”
Christopher de Leon has appeared in recent teleseryes such as “Alyas Robin Hood,” “Ika-6 na Utos” and he has an upcoming teleserye “Santa Santita” soon on GMA Network.
