Ariel Rivera is coming back to ABS-CBN after two years.
For the most of 2016 and 2017, singer-actor Ariel Rivera starred in GMA Network’s Hahamaking Ang Lahat and Mulawin vs. Ravena.
When he was asked why did he accept a role in an upcoming Kapamilya teleserye. He answered jokingly, “Kailangan ko ng pera, eh.” Although he turned serious and said, “This is home for me.”
“I started dito sa ABS-CBN. I was built up here. I learned the ways here. I’ve always thought this to be my home. Mayroon lang tayo minsang vacation home, napupunta ako sa kabila, but this has always been my home.”
He also told everyone how he accepts a role: “First and foremost, before I accept any project, it’s always, anong klaseng project, anong role ko. I ask first kung anong gagawin ko. I have to have a challenge or enjoy or like the character or the story before anything else.”
Rivera’s last Kapamilya show was the 2016 prime-time series Born For You as the father of Elmo Magalona’s character.
