Alma Moreno, the mother of Reina Teresita, was a guest in the GMA 7 morning show, Unang Hirit on November 6. She told everyone about being nervous while watching the pageant and her happiness when her daughter won. The pageant was held Saturday night, November 4, in Bolivia.
When Marquez got into the Top 10, Moreno claimed that she was nervous and got even more nervous when she got into the Top 5. Moreno also claimed that she cried when there were only two girls standing at the center of the stage and felt that her daughter is definitely going to win. When Philippines was called, she was very happy and declared the news to everyone.
