In the recently concluded 31st PMPC Star Awards for Television, “Wildflower” actress Aiko Melendez won the Best Drama Supporting actress for her exceptional performance as the cunning Emilia Ardiente.
On her acceptance speech, Aiko acknowledged the presence of her ‘girl crush,’ Marian Rivera on the crowd.
“Andito pala yung girl crush ko na si Marian Rivera,” she revealed.
“Huwag ka magselos ha, Dingdong, crush ko lang naman si Marian. Di ako lesbian, ha. Kung anu-ano sinasabi ko rito sa stage,” she jokingly added.
Aiko’s performance as the nemesis of Maja Salavador’s character Lily Cruz consistently made noise in social media with their intensed confrontation scenes.
