Asian Television Awards now on its 22nd year continues to be Asian TV industry’s most significant and celebrated event, recognizing excellence in programming, production and performance. The Awards comprise over 40 categories and represent the industry’s foremost recognition by enjoying the support of every major industry player throughout the region. Apart from the awards given, powerhouse performances await the viewers.

Kim Jong-Kook
Singer and host of popular South Korean variety show “Running Man,” Kim Jong-Kook is set to bring the spirit of K-pop alive at the 22nd Asian Television Awards. He was originally part of the Korean duo Turbo but later on pursued a solo career and has been successful since. A triple Daesang award-winning singer, he is also an active participant in a couple of variety shows.
Joanna Dong
Known for her soulful jazz performances, Joanna Dong will be performing at this year’s 22nd Asian Television Awards. The Singaporean singer, actress and host who came in third in Sing! China finals will take the stage in for the first time after her epic journey in the Chinese reality show.
Afgansyah Reza
Known to many as Afgan, this Indonesian singer, songwriter, and actor is a multi-awarded artist and has released six studio albums since his debut in 2008.
GG Magree
Australian Trap/Bass DJ GG Magree will be performing for the first time in Singapore. The renowned electronic artist recently launched her official single One by One which she believes greatly reflects her as an artist.
Bii
Mandopop singer, Bii畢書盡, is a talented singer and songwriter and has made songs in both Korean and Mandarin. Many of his songs were used as theme songs of popular TV series in Taiwan.
The Air
Vietnam’s latest boy group The Air is made up of five multi-talented singer-songwriters – Qlin, Him, Lu An, Kim Yi Sang and Eight.D. The latest pop sensation will be performing their first single titled “Dung Hen Uoc”, released on 12 November 2017 in Vietnam. On top of writing their own materials, the quintet is also talented in playing various music instruments during their performances. They have since achieved great milestone within the Vietnam music scene, achieving YouTube Silver Play Button for their YouTube channel THE AIR with over 145,000 subscribers.
The Asian TV awards will be hosted by Baki Zainal from Malaysia, Stephanie Carrington who is based in Singapore, as well as Wang Li Huan from Chinese broadcaster Shanghai Media Group.
The 22nd Asian Television Awards will air live on Friday, 1 December, 8:00PM (7:00PM JKT/BKK) first and exclusive on RTL CBS Entertainment.
