Action film “Across The Crescent Moon” won big at the recently concluded International Film Festival Manhattan.
According to the Facebook post of the movie official page, “Across the Crescent Moon” took home two awards including the Best Global Feature Film award and the Best Ensemble Acting award.
“We won! Thank you so much International Film Fest Manhattan (IFFM) for giving Across the Crescent Moon two awards tonight! BEST GLOBAL FEATURE FILM and the BEST ENSEMBLE ACTING Award!! Congratulations to our cast and crew for an amazing job! and a nomination for BEST DIRECTOR !” the caption read.
The film centers on a Muslim SAF agent who marries a Catholic lady. Due to his bold decision, Abbas, played by Matteo, struggled to be accepted by his wife’s parents. Along with that, he was also pressed to live by his oath and to serve his country.
