An unexpected appearance of GMA Network artists surprised the viewers and fans of the annual Star Magic Ball

The Star Magic Ball amazes everyone each year. All the glitz and glamour of the talents’ gowns and suits, the dates, and during/after party happenings are only just a few of what wowed the audience.
A rare moment occurred in the 2017 leg of the country’s biggest showbiz gathering. The talent management hold no barriers between theirs and the rival network’s artists as they had paved way for them at the ball.
Spotted in the red carpet were some of GMA Network’s topbilling stars. They accepted the invitation and appeared with their dates and elegant ensembles to support Star Magic.
Heart Evangelista, lead actress of GMA Network’s primetime series “My Korean Jagiya,” showed up with politician husband, Senator Chiz Escudero.
The actress even shared her sentiments about reuniting with Star Magic Head Johnny Manahan, who was the first person that noticed her talent.
She wrote, “I remember 19 years ago when he saw something in me and introduced me to showbiz. Nice to see my second dad and be reunited with you, Mr. M!”
Another GMA talent present in the night was Janine Gutierrez, who appeared as Rayver Cruz’s date. The two have been linked with each other for a while.
Rayver earlier admitted that he’s into Janine and he’s currently pursuing her.
A stunning Kapuso couple also arrived hand in hand for the ball. Miss World 2013 Megan Young and her boyfriend Mikael Diaz.
Megan was once a Star Magic talent but she transferred to GMA Network in 2015.
Another showbiz tandem, husband and wife, Kristine Hermosa-Sotto and Oyo Sotto, also attended the ball. The two hold ABS-CBN dearly to their hearts because they were once prime stars of the management.
It can be remembered that Kristine was among the prized talents of Star Magic when she was at her peak in career. However, since she married, the actress decided to keep a lowkey profile.
She might not have a date, this gorgeous woman proved that a queen doesn’t always need a king to slay.
Empress Schuck, joined showbiz as a Kapamilya and stayed for 17 years. In 2014, she signed with GMA Network and took a break the following year due to her pregnancy.
