Kapamilya love team Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto proudly confirmed that they will be joining Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta in the much-awaited reunion movie.
This will be their follow-up movie project after headlining the box-office hit “Love You To The Stars and Back.”
“Very exciting ito with Miss Sharon Cuneta and Sir Robin Padilla. Abangan na lang natin kung ano’ng magiging storya nito. Malupit po ‘to,” Joshua said.
“Minsan lang silang magkaroon ng pelikula at comeback nila ito together. Masaya kami na sa amin naibigay yung role na yun kasi minsan lang yun mangyari sa buhay,” he added.
Meanwhile, Julia felt grateful for the rare opportunity given to them working Megastar Sharon Cuneta and “Badboy” of Philippine movies Robin Padilla. “We are gonna be working with icons.”
The 20-year-old actress shared that her dad Dennis Padilla previously worked with Robin in several movies including the one the latter co-headlined with Sharon, “Maging Sino Ka Man”, in 1991. She also recalled that her aunt, Claudine Barretto had also worked with Sharon in the movie “Madrasta” in 1992.
“Naging sidekick ni Sir Robin si Papa and yung tita ko naka-work niya si Ms. Sharon. So, makakatrabaho nila yung next generation,” Julia stated.
