The 70-year old veteran comedian-actor did public apology on noon time show, “Eat Bulaga!”
“Eat Bulaga!” host Joey de Leon made his public apology after his controversial remarks about depression. The 70-year old veteran comedian-actor admitted his fault and insensitivity about the serious matter.
Joey shared that his wife, Eileen de Leon, and his children talked to him and explained that stress and depression is different from each other. He also emphasized on his speech that the incident taught him something.
Nagkamali po ako,” he said.
Joey made his statement on Thursday on Eat Bulaga’s “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment after the “sugod-bahay” winner said she has depression.
